Anyone coming through Tidewater Virginia give me a shout so I can hook up with you on the ride down.
I'll be tent camping again. Still don't own any faggy nylon rainsuit. I love the smell of wet leathers.

I plan on riding up from Wilmington, NC on Friday morning (5/14) travelling up Hwy 421. If anyone else is going up from eastern NC on friday let me know and maybe we can meet up along the way somewhere and ride as a group.
Also, is anyone staying in the bunkhouse or does everyone have cabins?

Cool. I'm still hoping to be able to meet somebody along the way to ride up with. If not, it's just a long lonesome highway.

My plans at the moment are to ride up after work on Thurs. If that doesn't work out, then I'm heading out first thing Fri. a.m. Leaving here from Mebane, NC it's a two hour ride.

The weekend was a blast! Anyone who didn't go really missed something. On a personal note, Dan, what kind of headlight do you run on that bike?

I run a stanadard headlight with a Sylvania Silverstar bulb. Why?

I was just wondering, it was so bright and white behind me during the rain ride Friday night from the restaraunt. I was thinking of going to that. Thanks!

They sell those Sylvania Silverstar bulbs at Wal-Mart considerably cheaper than they cost at an Auto Parts Store like Advance Auto or Auto Zone.
I'm running one in my 1986 XLH 883/1200. I upgraded my Sealed Beam Headlight a couple of years ago with an Adjure Tri Bar Black Dot Reflector Headlight Kit.
The Kit came with a Xeon 55/60w bulb, but it crapped out within a month of the install. As a replacement I bought the double pack set of Silver star bulbs, now I keep the spare in my saddle bag in case the other one craps out I'll have one onhand to replace it.
